Hotel houses homeless families/refugees (?) who keep their belongings in the hotel corridors - mainly pushchairs and children's toys.They also hang about public areas and reception which is slightly off-putting for full paying guests. Rooms could do with a bit of refurbishment and are quite noisy if overlooking the main road outside

My husband & I stayed here for one night while attending a concert in St. John's Castle. It is a very convenient hotel as in everything within the city centre is walkable. It has parking facilities nearby but you will have to pay a discounted price. The hotel itself is okay. The reception area is nice with quite nice artwork. Our room was okay but we found the corridors a bit shabby especially near the lifts. The bar and restaurant is nice with a varied menu to suit most tastes. Last orders for drinks was at 12am which we thought was a tad early seeing as we were staying in the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. We did not avail of breakfast. The price of our stay for one night was in keeping in what you would pay considering most hotels are expensive to stay in nowadays. I would recommend this hotel for a one or two night stay but you would probably require more comfort and facilities for a longer stay :)
