Comfort Inn & Suites Dayton Northwest - Englewood

Hotel was nicely remodeled, very clean.

Bed was not comfortable, maybe a better breakfast

The convenience of location

TV not user friendly. Had to have the staff come in and instruct us on how to use it . Tub very slippery with no slip proof strips. Breakfast very mediocre.

I had booked a room and was called to ask if I would switch to a room with two beds and I said yes. When I got there, the room was right across the hall from the ice machine. I asked if there were any other rooms available and was told there were not. For one night I listened to people getting ice and the ice dropping all night and the second day when I returned from drum corp at University of Dayton, they were ants crawling on the bedspread and the nightstand. It was too late to find any place else to stay so I checked out in the morning and was refunded my last two nights.

The staff was great and the room was clean.

The bed was so soft that I woke to back spasms, but other than that, I can't complain.

Hotel is old and needs fixtures and flooring to be replaced. Holes in the ceiling were creepy. Breakfast was gross. Out of all the juices - just water. And no coffee - which is crazy.

There were signs around that said they were remodeling but nothing that showed it was actually being remodeled. There was missing trim, and just overall looking run down. The pool area looked horrible and the pool was freezing. Was pretty disappointed since the photos looked nice and we paid more than we would have at other hotels based on the photos thinking it would be nicer. The staff was really friendly and the breakfast wasn’t bad. If they can update and make it look nicer, the overall experience would be much better and would then be worth what we paid to stay there.

They couldn't find our reservation it smell like cleaners. There was food in refrigerator it makes think the smell was masking something. We did stay the. After the concert we came back and checked out. We couldn't stay
