We come to Sandusky every year during Memerial Day weekend and its the only hotel we'll stay at..everyone is amazing and super nice and the rooms are perfect

I loved every bit of South Shore. Staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was great. I loved the pool. Excellent location. Thirsty Pony and Famous Dave’s Barbecue a short walk down street. Main Road to Cedar Point right there. I will definitely stay here again.

My partner and I stayed there before a full-day trip to Cedar Point. This review isn't so much about the motel itself (which was perfectly located, and exactly what we needed for the night!) but about the customer service I received afterward. I travel with my own pillow; a pillow I've had for ~17 years. I love it. When I got home (2 hours away) I realize that I left my pillow at the motel. I was devastated. I called immediately, spoke with Sam, and they swiftly arranged for my pillow to be mailed back to me, no questions asked. It was remarkably easy, communication was great, and my pillow is on its way back to me as I write this. Some of the next customer service I've ever received!

"Clean and great location"

The staff are very nice, the location is great for cedar point sports and cedar point. The room was clean and pool was nice. Nice quick breakfast too.

I wish they had a little coffee maker.

"Great Weekend Retreat Spot"

A great spot for a weekend getaway, and not far from Cedar Point, Kalahari and more! Really nice staff, rooms, and the atmosphere was wholesome - would book again!
