"Great Place to Stay!"

South Shore Inn was the perfect place for our holiday weekend get away! The location being so close to Cedar Point and downtown Sandusky was what drew us, but the cleanliness of the room and the kind staff made our experience even better. Thank you!

"Better than the franchises!"

My husband and I stayed here Memorial Day weekend while visiting cedar point. All staff was very friendly, and the pool/hot tub combo was our favorite. The pool has 2 fun water slides which is very rare at a hotel of this price point. The rooms were very clean, and the beds were very comfy. The jet tub worked great & you could tell it had been throughly cleaned. We had a great experience and will return.

"Great Independent hotel - our go to in Sandusky!"

We have been coming here for 4 years now and always have a pleasant stay. We love the free breakfast (and the staff that work the breakfast - always nice to come back to a familiar face!) You can’t beat the location with proximity to Cedar Point either. The hotel rooms are clean and beds are comfortable.

Even though it’s our favourite, the walls are paper thin. You can hear the conversation of the people in the next room. Also, the air conditioner blows right at the bed that it’s closest too - very hard to sleep when you have to keep the room cool, but your face is freezing. We also thought the pool would be open as the weather was so hot this weekend - but I guess it doesn’t open until Memorial Day weekend.

"It provided just what we needed."

Room was very clean and comfortable bathroom was updated with tile, and nice vanity mirrors.

Wish it had breakfast options but we ended up buying groceries to keep breakfast in our kitchen in the room.

Bathroom was up to date and clean. It was close to the Cedar Point Sports Complex.

No breakfast, no coffee in the room, air conditioner kept kicking off and on and it was loud and room temperature was too uncomfortable to sleep. Also, I didn't know that they take an extra $100 off my credit card at check in and I haven't got it back yet, supposed to have it back Monday.
