Came in for surgery at Mayo Clinic hotel is tucked way back with nothing around it. Beds were absolutely horrible rock hard definitely was no way you could sleep on them after surgery almost canceled room and booked elsewhere. Only good this was their breakfast was good
Donna at the front desk was very polite and accommodating. My first room was facing the street and I asked for a different room and the 2nd room was perfect. She knew the area very well and suggested somewhere to eat that was very close . The hotel also provides a free shuttle to the Mayo campus.
Was a better hotel than most, cleaner than most, but did show a bit of wear and tare. The room smelled damp, like wet carpet. Had a few issues with the A/C unit, it was adequate. Toilet had a leak and was not a big deal unless you walked into it with socks on. Told the front desk and he said maintenance would look into it.
