Wanted a place to stay close to Mayo clinic and this was within 10 minutes, economical and VERY friendly and welcoming. The breakfast staff even took the time to face each cup with the logo forward.
This hotel is clean, the staff is friendly. We stayed in a king suite which I loved the layout. As soon as you walk in the door its like walking into a welcoming living room and the bedroom area is large and comfortable behind a heavy glass/curtained door. I would definitely recommend this hotel to families.

Checked in and went to the room and the room was not cleaned the bed was not made and there was garbage from the previous guest. The fromt desk gave me a new room.

Everything is outdated, the walls and trim is dirty, broken and old, the furniture is cheap old and slightly broken, the showers are horrible, the shower head was stuck on a focus intense small stream, there was hair on the shower walls before I used it. The breakfast was never hot, always like warm or cold, the bacon was always submerged in its grease and oil. There was constantly kids and adults running up and down the halls on many floors which could be heard and felt on all the floors. There was constantly noises heard through the walls half the time. The tvs are tiny and it was difficult for me to see the tv without sitting on the foot of the beds or up close to the tv.
Could hear everything in the hallways and above us. I thought the lady at check in was a bit rude both interactions that I had with her. Short answers and treated me like I was suspect. Not impressed. Also, not in a convenient location off the highway.
It needed updates and construction work.
