Excellent pool & hot tub facilities. Breakfast fantastic.

Room wasnt the best in terms of layout, very random. Bathroom radiator was on & couldnt be switched off. The room was very noisy, we were just above the kitchen extractor, which we complained about, we were assured it would go off, however it went on all night & never let. Fine in the winter when you dont need to open the window. So its either the annoying sound or being red hot!

The bathroom (basin too small to use), the customer service/response to feedback. We asked for a quiet room, were given one separated from another only by a door, kept awake until 4.30 am and woken again at 6am by loud conversation from multiple wedding guests in the next room . I mentioned this to the front desk and again in response to a standard "please rate your experience" text. The front desk could not assure us of a quiet second night. The customer service text contact gave no acknowledgement or reply.

The staff are incredibly polite and helpful, and will go the extra mile to make sure you have a nice time. Not just for me, I've witnessed them being so kind and helpful to so many guests!

Unfortunately, the quality of the room did not feel in line with the price paid. Two windows were painted shut during the current heatwave, making the room very uncomfortable, and despite reporting this multiple times, the request was never logged or actioned. There were also several maintenance issues, including a broken lamp with exposed wiring, a faulty mirror, missing tap caps, and generally poor finishing in the room.

I always enjoy staying at the Majestic. My room was great and so quiet.

The rooms were lovely and they definitely need better fans in the heat or air conditioning , that’s the only complaint that I can make

Location and spa facilities

We had the maid barge in our room at 9am with clean towels. We told her no we didn’t need clean towels but she still came in muttered under her breath and emptied the bins and refilled our tea/coffee..we had just come out the shower and was not properly dressed. I have never been to a hotel where they come in anyway. Hence the room wasn’t cleaned properly and the bed was not made that day. I have complained to the hotel on checkout. Truly shocked. She didn’t seem to care. Ps pillows are very soft. Need to update pillows or have cushions on the bed.
