Well decorated, lovely staff, very comfortable

The staff were very kind and welcoming and friendly. Really remarkable. Every one was excellent.

Breakfast was made to order and fresh. Ordered the nught before so all ready to go when your arrived.

The pub was ok and the bed comfortable.

The hotel was not clean, in my the bathroom in room 5 there was pubic hair in every corner of the bathroom. The skirting in the corner was heavy with black mold and the shower tray over flowed with the shower within 2 mins. The room was not serviced until approx 3 pm . Access to the rooms is via a rear exit with bags of dirty laundry stacked outside and black bin liners of rubbish. The pub is closed on Sunday night with no food or drinks served for the public or residents. At night the pub premises is unattended with no staff present and the rear doors open and unlocked. There are ironing boards and irons in the hall ways and cushions stored in black bin liners. Not great experience. We had a meal in the restaurant and the Roasted Root vegetables with quinoa was so bad the waitress willingly refunded us when we paid and agreed that the dish was not good - her words.

Small, quiet and very relaxed.

The door to my room no.6 had a 3” gap at the bottom, the floor sloped away by a few inches so not good in the event of a fire/smoke! Needs to be looked at.
