The Rose and Crown Hotel – Tonbridge

Rooms are ran down, cleanliness is not good, hair everywhere on the bathroom floor, bulbs missing in lamps, building smells musty as soon as you walk into reception. In major needs of a revamp. Expensive for what you get. The staff is friendly

The hotel is very dated and in need of repair - whilst price is reasonable and staff helpful the environment is in need of a refurbishment . It could be a lovely hotel as it has a lot of history .

- Room was not very clean ... very dirty behind the bed. - Room was not made for my last night there. - Nobody was at the reception when I was checking out (even though they advertise 24 hour reception). - No hot water during my last 2 days. - Will not use for any future trip I am planning.

No one around to assist on arrival firstly. (1st person I encountered just said “someone will turn up shortly”) Room was dated and not the cleanest I’ve seen. It’s a pub with rooms above BUT the pub wasn’t open. Cheap and “not so” cheerful I suppose

Reasonably priced accommodation in main part of town. Period features which need a little TLC

Welcoming - Staff are very friendly, although kept waiting to Checkin whilst reception had conversation with other staff. Matthew (night porter) very froendly and pleased to assist. Hotel lovely but well worn. Minor issues with shower. I'd visit again, but wife wouldn't!

Generally good, parking was easy No complaints

In real need of refurbishment and general maintenance upkeep , not a pleasurable experience

Hotel nice enough, staff friendly, but breakfast was a total letdown, very little left towards the end and not very nice.

The area is very convenient. Bang on central. Castle just across the road . The hotel itself need a whole new refurbishment. It’s slightly run down .
