Hotel Villa Ducale

First class service which cannot be faulted. It is expensive but the I have the impression most hotels at this level in this town at high season are. The restaurant is excellent and the service for tourists is very helpful.

Beautiful hotel with beautiful rooms and views. Service was excellent- shout out to Max during breakfast for just being wonderfully attentive. The hotel also has a restaurant with a beautiful view where you can easily watch the sunset. The infinity pool was lovely as well

Our first time in Sicily with Taormina being our first stop. We arrived at hotel Villa Ducale and received the warmest welcome ever from Santina and Daniel. All the staff were amazing and helpful here including the dining staff but we had the most interaction with Santina and she made a lasting impression! We would go back just for that reason! The infinity pool overlooking the sea from high in the cliff is amazing. Breakfast was great with an equally amazing view. We had a welcome dinner that was exceptional, and the night view was also amazing. Rooms are kind of small but adequate, but the staff , the food, the complimentary shuttle to town, the food and the pool made the room size irrelevant. Our only concern was that we only planned 3 nights there but needed 5! We look forward to returning to Villa Ducale!

It’s difficult to convey how much this hotel exceeded our expectations. We booked last minute without much in formation about the hotel. The photographs online were mixed. But when we were shown our suite, we were blown away. It was completely brand new. The bed was the comfiest bed we’d ever slept in. The view is the best view from a bed we’ve ever had. The furnishings and products are amazing. Next we explored the pool area. There is an absolutely stunning infinite pool overlooking the sea. Finally, the staff…they were all incredibly helpful, charming, and lovely. We spent the last day of a ten day trip here, and it really made leaving for raining England even harder. Thank you for a wonderful stay. P.s. There is also a free shuttle bus to the town and we were allowed ti enjoy the pool for a whole day after our morning check out.

Hotel Villa Ducale is surely one of the more picturesque hotels in Taormina. The main lobby and restaurant offers sweeping views of the water up to Mount Etna. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and go out of their way to book restaurants, taxis, or just offer suggestions on enjoying Taormina. The hotel offers shuttles to beach clubs, and also to Taormina which is approximately a 10-minute drive down the winding mountain road. You will need to reserve your place on these shuttles in advance.

Wonderful experience! Highly recommend this beautiful boutique hotel perched in the hills above Taormina that gives sweeping views of the sea and Mt Etna and gives impeccable, high quality service and hospitality. The new infinity pool is so perfect! Like a dream. Our private terrace was so beautiful! The staff, I can’t say enough about how warm and friendly they are- truly I felt like we were received like family. The breakfast offers delicious local fresh foods with great variety and the Incanto restaurant as well has creative cocktails, great wine list and gorgeous food with literally the best view in Taormina. Free shuttle to and from city center and beaches- this hotel is my home when I go to Taormina for so many reasons! Go visit them and you will discover another jewel in the crown of Taormina. Unforgettable experience!
