Convenient location, staff were kind

There was some yelling, loud talking, and obnoxious people from midnight to around 4. Didn't really get good sleep because of it.

It was close to the wedding venue when we booked the room. We never got to it because we didn’t stay.

It wasn’t appealing from the outside when we drove up to check in. It needed some cleaning and curb appeal. I checked in. Got my keys and told I would be on the 2nd floor across the other side of the building. There was only 1 elevator on the side I checked in at. Before bring all of our things up to the room we brought things we needed for the night. I usually do a room inspection when I walk in the door. I just do these things for my reasons. I don’t want to take things home if I can avoid it!! The room was awful. There were bugs in the sheets. Stains on the bedding,bad marks on the sides of the mattress. Dirty shower curtain /tub floor. The tp holder was nothing but RUST. The curtains were dirty, the windows & the surrounding area looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The lamps weren’t in good shape. The big chair had “stuff” all over it. I tried to contact other places to stay before I came downstairs to tell the night person who checked me in that I wouldn’t be able to stay. I did take pictures of the things in the room to validate my findings. We traveled from Minnesota to Wisconsin. And back to Minnesota that same day!! I was asked by the staff if I wanted another room and I said would you want to sleep here after I just seen in the room!! I had booked for two nights. The manager told me that I only could have 20% off the room I paid. I asked is that the best he could do. I thought I should have IT ALL RETURNED AND REVERSED BACK ON MY CARD!! . I told him to cancel my reservation for the next night too!! I feel this hotel needs a huge amount of work to be done before they will get positive feedback and good reviews from their guests.

A place to stay

The room was very unclean, the bedding topper had gross visible stains like something had spilled on it. They had no replacement cover. The shampoo and conditioner sample were half used. No housekeeping came in to refresh towels or make beds during our stay. We could barely understand the front desk staff, very poor English. The breakfast was also disgusting. Week old hard as a rock donuts, eggs in a household crockpot with a plastic liner. Very limited food. Everything felt so unclean.

Location was good. It was quiet. Slept well
