Clean smelled like cigarettes

I had an extremely disappointing stay at Microtel Inn. Before booking, I specifically called to confirm that the pool and hot tub were open and in good working condition, as I was looking forward to relaxing after a long day on the road. The hotel assured me everything was fine. However, when we arrived and went to the pool area, it was immediately clear that things were not as promised. The pool water was milky, and you couldn’t even see the bottom. When we tried to use the hot tub, it was just as bad. The water was cloudy, and there was some kind of floating material on the surface. It was completely uninviting and not what we were expecting after a long trip. To make matters worse, the issues didn’t stop there. Back in our room, the TV wasn’t working, and when we called the front desk for assistance, a staff member came up to try and fix it. Unfortunately, she wasn’t able to do anything and promised that someone else would be sent up to resolve the issue, but no one ever came. Suddenly our phone stopped working. On top of all of that, we found someone else’s clothes tucked between the cushions of the window seat, which was honestly shocking. After all of these issues, we were left feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. It was a huge letdown.

The staff was great and the rooms were nice

The walking dead it look like somebody tried to push my door in on my box truck good thing I had a lock on it parking could be better for bobtail trucks other than that beside the junkies next door

Started our stay by walking up to a homeless lady sitting out front with over 20 suitcases and her dog sitting in the parking lot by the front door. (First red flag) Go in and clerk was nice, explained pool works but is freezing! (No heater?) Get to room and check it, clean on the surface until we start putting our stuff away and we find trash all under the sink and our young grandchild finds a Sex Toy! Clerk was somewhat apologetic but really just cared if the room looked clean. Go to pool and yes it’s absolutely Freezing!! Murky green and chlorinated bad!!! Try to go to bed to find pull out couch had clothes and makeup in it with no sheets, blanket or anything! Go to the desk again and of course he just keeps explaining that room was clean! Well fire your cleaning staff then!! Turned our three night stay into a one night and got out of there by 8 am the next morning!! And of course when we go to check out the new clerk is outside with the pile of homeless smoking pot. Had to wade past pot smoke and cursing and screaming to get to our car!

It was an ok stay for the price. I was only there one night. First room I was out in was not clean but second room I was put in was. Just check your room really well before staying in it. I would say if you are staying for only a night or too it is ok for the price.

There wasn’t anything good about the hotel itself, full of pot smell, surrounded with homeless and even the staff was too busy outside getting high! Then the high point of our stay was our 10 year old finding a sex toy in the room! Then pull out couch was covered in clothes and makeup along with no sheets, pillows or blankets! Pool was nasty green and murky and absolutely freezing! Even the gallons of chlorine wasn’t doing any good to have clean. The night manager was apologetic but the daytime manager could care less and was too busy smoking pot outside with the homeless!

The pool was down for maintenance and that was mentioned no where. In the rooms there were marks, the outlet by the bed didn’t work, the light above the desk was out. The shower head was leaking and sprayed water everywhere.

Staff accommodated late arrival, was friendly but not professional.

Parking was not adequate, persons loitering in parking lot, facility not maintained and not clean. Smelled like mildew. Stains on bed linen.

Saw 2 mice in room. Very dirty. Pool is freezing not heated as advertised. Ac in room did not work well. Easy access to drugs as there is about 10 people in parking lot trying to ask people what drug they want.
