The location excellent, in middle of street, easy access to shops, restaurants etc.Quiet relaxed attentive atmosphere, beautiful pools, nothing was too much trouble. The room was very comfortable and bed So comfy, best sleep! Very peaceful, bikes great, breakfast just enough choice. We enjoyed a dinner in the restaurant, service very good. Love the history, and inclusions are amazing. Felt spoilt for the 5 days. Thank you, we will recommend and be back.

Really enjoyed our stay. The accomodation and the facilities are fantastic. The staff were super attentive and friendly. The food and ambience at the restaurant was so beautiful. The seafood platter was incredible! The wine tasting and cocktail classes were a fun inclusion. Great place for an adults only romantic getaway.

The Reefhouse is one of the best places to stay. Fantastic location, amazing and welcoming staff and great amenities. I cannot express how much I love and enjoyed my stay, from the accommodation to the restaurant, to the welcoming staff and the great experiences. No wonder this property wins award after award.

It doesn't get much better for a genuine holiday experience. The location is perfect, the staff of the highest quality, the rooms are a good size and well equipped. The restaurant setting is terrific and the quality of the food was the best in Palm Cove. Would not have minded a slightly more adventurous menu. Throw in wonderful North Queensland weather and we were so relaxed that they had to wake us up to tell we had a plane to catch. One small whinge. There is no gym

From the moment I arrived to the morning of my departure I was looked after by the wonderful staff at Reef House. From Front desk to Front of house, restaurant and bar, pool attendants. They made sure my stay comfortable and catered to my needs. Reef House is an adults only retreat so it was quite relaxed, no fast moves. You can do as little or as much as you like. You can join in the many activities available, cocktail making, wine appreciation, poolside yoga and more. Me, I found that all too exhausting and chose cocktail in hand poolside ❤️ The accommodation is really comfortable. I loved my bed. Breakfast daily was included and I also dined at the restaurant on a few occasions. Food absolutely delicious, not to mention the wine. I also had a lovely massage and facial at Reef Spa, truly relaxing, Prescilla is a wonderful masseuse.I am looking forward to coming back and staying longer. I can recommend Reef House Retreat

This is the third time that my mother and I have stayed at the reef house, and we honestly believe it gets better everytime. This boutique hotel is so beautiful, as soon as you walk through the entrance it is hard to leave. A very relaxing vibe and the staff are more than accommodating! We’d love to personally thank Dean, Jade, Charlotte, Rodrigo, Larissa, Bruno, Luca, Natalia and Cedric. You made us both feel extremely welcome and special which made our stay even more delightful!

Couldn't be happier with our stay here. The location is incredible and the hotel itself absolutely gorgeous - it still has that very old world hospitality feel while being modernised and comfortable with such great facilities. The staff were faultless, all so accommodating, knowledgeable, and helpful to no ends. The cocktail and wine classes are a must, and we thoroughly enjoyed the culture and reed talks. The restaurant/bar is also spectacular, everything we had throughout the whole stay was delicious, and the spa was so relaxing. Definitely recommend for anyone who wants an adult's only getaway!

A most beautiful relaxing retreat, we found all staff very pleasant and they organise activities for you. We have already re booked to go back in the new year. The package deal we had included breakfast daily and one lunch, the restaurant was faultless and the food sensational. Palm cove is so beautiful, can’t wait to return.

My partner and I have enjoyed two wonderful stays at The Reef House and we are planning our third visit in 2026. The buildings and gardens are superbly maintained and contribute to the peaceful and serene environment. It is such a unique place to relax or participate in the activities offered on site or nearby locations. Excellent meals and amazing staff are wonderful and the beach location cannot be believed. We think The Reef House will exceed expectations. 6 stars.

This was our 3rd stay at ‘our’ beautiful The Reef House. As usual it was a wonderful stay with the impeccable staff treating us like family. It was fun, relaxing, with plenty to do if you want or just stay by the pool and have the butler look after you. Of course we have booked again for next year
