Casa de Campo Resort & Villas

Staff were great and super friendly, all inclusive restaurants were good and not limited to certain menu items (but no buffet option in the evenings), and we were given a free upgrade to a 4 bedroom villa when we arrived which was a very nice surprise! As a European, I was a bit wary of the expectancy around tipping so we took lots of low denomination USD and tipped servers at all bars/restaurants, cleaning staff etc., but I never once got a sense that it was expected and a few dollars was always gratefully received. The golf facilities were excellent and the courses were in great condition. You must take a caddie on Teeth of the Dog and Dye Fore (caddie paid directly in cash) but there was no pressure to use one on the Links. My son and I did question some of the guy's reads on the greens though... TotD was visually stunning although as mid/high handicappers, we found it a lot easier than the Dye Fore course, with the latter played over rolling cliffs with big drop offs around most greens so accuracy from the (wide) fairways was important

The resort is huge and more like a small town so the free buggies are a must, but it did mean that we needed motorised travel for every meal or beach/golf trip from our villa overlooking the polo pitches. Some of the best restaurants felt too far for a buggy ride (20+ mins) so we organised buses through the hotel in the evenings. These were free (excluding tip for the driver) and arrived promptly but after a week of navigating speed bumps I did yearn for a short walk to dinner!

Casa de Campo has been amazing. This has been the second time, and we totally love the whole atmosphere. The room we stayed was very spacious, and we had the lovely Anyi Rosario who was very friendly and helpful to make our experience here even better. Thank you so much and looking forward to coming back in the near future.

Outstanding time, one of our favorite vacation places in the world. Sergio at the Premier Suites took fabulous care of my wife and myself. We can't say enough about him and the entire staff. And the food and golf are outstanding .

Fantastic place. You have to come here and play the teeth of the dog. The water holes are best in the world and the accommodations are 5 stars. The service is amazing as well. The rooms are really nice. Rooms are huge for a standard room. The housekeeping is exceptional as well. Josetida have my room filled up with water and ice every day. You will go through a ton of water out here so it’s nice to always come back to the room stocked up. Can’t wait to come back. The food is great too. So many options, Lagos

La Casita was our favorite restaurant. Highly recommended. Bald Jose was the best!
