Days Inn by Wyndham Socorro

The first morning there was a waffle machine that said "There is no butter, Sorry for the inconvenience. " There were 6 yogurts in a small fridge and a bowl of apples. I tried to eat a waffle but it was too dry. Second morning the door into the breakfast area and front desk was locked with a sign saying "Please ring the bell and wait for me to get there". I rang several times with no response.

There was no coffee available in the room, breakfast was awful. The room was clean which is the only reason I chose to stay.

They only had waffles, coffee and apples. We stayed there last year and they had cereal, apple and orange juice, yogurt, bread for toast and pastries.

There were bed bugs on one of the beds, had to change rooms after they inspected the room.

It was in the city my Dad wanted to stay in.

-Constant harassment by Maintenance/housekeeping if our truck wasn’t parked perfectly straight even when parked between the lines of the empty parking lot. The only other cars in the parking lot were their car, and another pickup but they parked in the driveway blocking it, and the other truck was all the way at the other end of the building where they were staying. -The bathrooms were horrible. The tub and the sinks were painted or coated in something that was coming off so they were a bunch of different colors and looked dirty. -The shower was so low on the wall that I had to crouch down to wash my hair and I’m only 5’7 -the water pressure was so low it was extremely hard to wash the shampoo out of my hair. It was also hard to get a good temperature so I ended up taking a cold shower -the “Continental” breakfast consisted of dry waffles, coffee, and a bowl of apples. It was absolutely horrible and they should just get rid of free breakfast if they aren’t going to have anything edible. -we were ready to look past the horrible bathroom and breakfast and continue our week long stay but the constant harassment by the staff about the empty parking lot was more than we could handle so we packed up our stuff requested a cancellation and left. The staff at this hotel not only came up to us being extremely rude, they also called booking and lied to try and make it our fault when none of this was our fault. Whoever owns this hotel needs to get rid of the couple they have running it if there’s any chance of saving this place. It appeared that they lived there above the office and clearly didn’t want anyone staying there because they drove us out and that takes a lot. My dad loves the old dive motels so we always have issues with the rooms but this was all because of the extremely unprofessional and rude staff. My Dad has stage 4 cancer and this trip was for him and we ended up driving 20hrs back home after this experience. If you value your peace just skip this place.

I stayed a week for a training. The staff was very accommodating, it was clean and comfortable and I felt safe.

The room was OK. The sink was new. Cross ventilation was good.

The bath tub was in terrible shape. They had removed furniture so it looked empty.

This place definitely needs maintenance & a deep clean. Bathroom tiles damaged, mildew on shower curtain. I was scalded several times in the shower when the room next door used their water. Super loud heating/AC unit. The site listed a coffeemaker in the room (which I was counting on as the coffee they serve is pretty bad) but there wasn't one. For 100 bucks, you should do better Wyndham.

The bed was comfortable.

Breakfast was a disappointment. Consisted of a few yoghurt in a small fridge and a waffle maker. Usually there is a lot more. It took 3 trips to the front desk to access the wifi as they put my information in wrong. The room was boiling hot with the temp set at 75 and blasting heat with the window next to it open. Took hours to cool down. I couldn't leave the window or door open because of the location on the first floor.
