Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Moline Airport

I booked the reservation online. We stayed there as my husband was going on a Veterans Honor Flight. I asked if there was a veterans discount but was told the payment had already been processed, so no. Otherwise it was fine. So close to the airport - very convenient.

Very quiet

Unfriendly woman on the front desk who went I to check in, accused me of reserving two rooms and that I'd need to pay a cancellation fee. After I'd explained to her three times, I hadn't booked two rooms and only needed one, she somewhat relented and said she would have to speak to her manager. So, not a great first impression. The room itself? Phew. prepare to travel back to 1995 and enjoy the 27-inch TV and raggedy furniture fresh from goodwill. The suite section with pull-out bed is good for extra sleeping space, although no bedding or pillows were available. The bathroom likely gets cleaned once a week and, oh, looks like they missed a spot back there. And there. Redeeming features? the breakfast was decent albeit the dining area is very cramped. Would not stay here again.

Our room was lovely. Clean, comfortable, just right for a short stay. Only complaint was insufficient soundproofing between floors. Guests above us came in just as we were falling asleep, about 11:15. Footsteps back and forth across the room many times sounded like it was in our room, and made it difficult to fall asleep. We would stay there again, though.☺️ Proximity to the airport and our son‘s home make it convenient.

Wasn’t very clean. 2 windows were broken in our room, the others were clouded and couldn’t see out. Carpet needed vacuumed and cleaned, stained. Water didn’t get very warm. There was a window broke in the door going to pool.

Check in was smooth and eay but there was a discrepancy in my expected charges and what i was charged. Had trouble with TV but staff were quick to fix. Also had trouble with key cards. Not fun getting back to the hotel late and then not able to access the room and then have to run down to the desk for a new one. It happened the first night and then again withboth key cards night 2. Food was adequate the first day but came down to no hot food on day 2. Staff were quick to remedy but we had to wait for the foid to be prepared. Staff need to be checking and cleaning up during the breakfast hours. We have been staying here when we come to visit family for a while now. Maintenance is down. It also seems staff appear when needed but it requires calling on the house phone. It would make sense for staff to be readily available during breakfast hours as well as popular check-in and out hours.
