OYO Hotel DeRidder Hwy 171 North

I worked night shift & was able to sleep, with no housekeeping knocking on the door.

Ice maker is toast, the only chair in my room has a broken back (you will fall backwards out of the chair ? ) both tv remotes wouldn't work the TV (plus you had to swap batteries from one the other.

No breakfast

Room wad not cleaned, toilet seat needed to be fixed, walls were filthy, couch in room was nasty and had stains, towels had stains, vent in bathroom didn't work because the vent at the top of ceiling was torn from the ceiling, were the fire detector was suppose to be, the wires were hanging out, pinkish sticky stuff on little night stand, no comforter on the bed, floor was dirty, one of the chairs in the room was loose and flimsy, wires hanging from the TV, no phone in the room, no iron or ironing board, lights dim in the room, spider webs on the light fixtures, cabinets dusty, opened microwave peeled on the inside and not cleaned, tape on the curtain that covered the window, bathroom walls nasty, floor boards nasty in the room and bathroom, and hotel had the nerve to have you pay up front when you first check in and a sign on the front desk that said no refund and this hotel really expected to get a good review, you don't even deserve to be open, and this was our first and definitely our last time staying at OYA Hotel in DeRidder, LA or any OYA Hotel any where else. Worst, worst, worst, hotel that we have ever stayed in. Please be aware people of this hotel. We would like a refund $200.92 two nights.

Air was cold.

Looks like our door had been kicked in . The TV woke us up every hour after turning it off every time. So we didn't get any rest. Wasn't worth the price. Rm.115 is very bad. Ghostly...

The front desk staff were very helpful.
