OYO Hotel DeRidder Hwy 171 North

It was good

Price was great.

Bathrooms were not cleaned, towels were dirty, toilet paper was limited to 1 roll per day. TV did not work, fridge was frozen. Doors were secured with masking tape. Floors were jagged and rough .

Location was good

No bath towels in room...went to front desk..lady at desk seemed crabby...towels were hung on outside door know..I found towels when I was leaving hotel next morning I put bag of towels by bathroom sink..never used the towels

This is the worst experience I’ve ever had a any hotel in my life disgusting environment , no maintenance and customer service was ridiculous. No toiletries in room no towels, and there idea of free breakfast is a vending machine that was broken . I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels and this is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had by far. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!

Online it says pets stay FREE but when I arrived to check in I had to pay for my 2 dogs who travel with us.

I like the convenience of walking around without a vehicle. So many places near this hotel. So on the other note I'll start by this hotel has so much potential. I surprised my boyfriend because he is a driller and I booked this trip on my way to Louisiana. I just didn't like the fact that I had to clean my own room and I didn't have any amenities. I had to ask for toilet paper and I didn't even bother with the others I just we

The price

Pretty run down and not kept very clean. Floors were not swept or mopped. Your feet would get dirty just from walking around your room. If we had know other options were available in town we wouldn't have stayed here but booking.com only showed this hotel.
