Excellent. Hotel has had a "makeover" since our last visit - not that it needed it - and the result is a lovely place to stay. Friendly staff, comfortable & well-appointed room. More than adequate breakfast. Only 45 minutes drive from ferry at Ouistreham. Would highly recommend.

A very convenient, comfortable and economical place for an overnight stop en route through France. The newly refurbished rooms have very comfortable beds and pillows although rooms facing the Leclerc supermarket are noisier than those overlooking the car park at the back.

Helpful stuff. Hot water provided when handed over a flask for hot drinks. Polite. Quiet place. Comfortable bed .could do with a hand towel along with bath towels .

we stayed just one night 5 adults and 1 dog we had 3 rooms all rooms were ok not huge but ok for one night, bathrooms were clean, the only negative was all rooms had a stale smell of cigarette smoke also there was no tea/coffee facilities, But on the PLUS side the restaurant / bar area was really good stuff very helpful and friendly and food was really good, evening meal served quickly hot and tasty breakfast was the best we had had in several hotels in France, so just a pity about the stale smell in the rooms.

We regularly use this hotel as a night stop on our trips to France as it is 30 minutes from the Caen ferry and close to the motorway. The staff are efficient and welcoming even when we arrive very late and it is a very cost-effective place to stay.

Large rooms, poorly equipped- no kettle, no water, no soaps or shampoos etc. Breakfast was an expensive mistake. Evening meal was the opposite, great and good value. Its an overnight stop hotel as opposed to a nice one. Good enough for 1 night. But get breakfast elsewhere - 300 yrds to the old city of Falaise and bars etc. Odd numbers noisy from traffic.

Less than an hour's drive from the ferry port. Nicely appointed, quiet, pet friendly

Had an overnight stay here on the way back to Caen. We needed a stop and this hotel perfectly fit the bill. The staff were very helpful and spoke super English. Would definitely recommend this place. The room was adeqate( no tea-making facilities ) for an overnight stay.

I have used this hotel several times as a base for exploring the D-Day Landing Beaches and as usual received the warm welcome and friendly service characteristic of Ibis Hotels. Can heartily recommend this hotel as incredible value for money. The spectacular view of William the Conqueror's Castle from my bedroom window was a bonus.

Great stop off on way to ferry port. Comfortable bed although a little hot with no air con available. Food was good. Slightly noisy room as the next door came in very late at 2am and could hear them.
