Galway Bay Hotel

Location is perfect - right across the street from the water. The view from the hotel can't be beat.

Large comfortable rooms, great location, lovely facilities including gym, pool and sauna as well as free guest activities like wine tasting and cocktail mixing demo. A great place to stay.

The staff are the heart of this hotel, always smiling and yet professional. Our sea facing room was lovely and was well serviced. Linens were clean and of good quality. Another armchair would have been a welcome addition. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The menu items were very rich for me, but my dietry needs were met well by the kitchen staff. Places to sit and relax were comfortable, but very often full up so we didn't get to experience those. An easyvwalk into Galway town for those that can do that, there's a bus stop outside the hotel or taxis are available. What would have improved our experience was a toilet brush and more thorough cleaning of the toilet, limescale seems to be a problem and another armchair in the room. Both the Restaurant and the Bistro are good places to eat.

Very nice hotel. Clean and very friendly staff. Multiple restaurants to choose from onsite. Walkable into Galways Latin area in around 40 minutes. Bus stops right in front of the hotel.

This is the second time we have stayed here and we love it! The staff is great, close to everything.

Loved the location right along the water. Friendly staff. Could use air conditioning and more modern outlets to plug phones in.

Beautiful view of the water, friendly staff, and clean comfortable rooms, but they need ice buckets!

The staff were very friendly but this is an old hotel with no air conditioning in our room. It needed ventilation - the towels could not even be dried.
