Galway Bay Hotel

This was a FANTASTIC property in a great area with pubs, restaurants, and the SEA! Would stay again for sure!

The hotel is beautiful, the staff was so accomadating. The hotel was very clean. George, the gentleman who works in the bar was amazing. We love the hotel.

Nice location across the road from the beach and nice room. However in summer we found the room to be very hot overnight which significantly impacted our sleep and although there was a small fan it didn't help much as just circulated hot air. Some proper aircon would be expected for a 4 star hotel. We also found the pillows to be a bit uncomfortable as they were too flat and also some long black hairs not belonging to us in the bathroom. The shower curtain over the bath was also the kind you couldn't stop from wrapping around you while showering and fell off too (hopefully this is changed or cleaned in between guests). Overall a nice room in a nice location with a good selection of bar/restaurant food. But just a few small touches that could be improved on at this price point as it is 4 star.
