Hotel Cannes Montfleury

I will no stay in any other Novotel as my first experince with them was awfull ! We have just came back from our holiday from Cannes and have stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. On arrival we realised AC does not work and the room is not actually a double ! It was 2 single beds stuck together with 5 Cm gap in between ! They changed the room for us but still problem with the beds remains the same and this time also the blankets were 2 sigle. Swimming pool is very small , not too bad over all but be ready to pay for the sun beds for 10 Euro. Breakfast will cost you 20 Euro per head which does not worth it. Some receptionists do not speak english and if you dont know french you will be in trouble. So not again for us !

The hotel was very good and the friendliness of the staff made the experience excellent!

Hotel was a little tricky to get to. Free parking was the main reason for stay at this hotel, and is needed, as its certainly a car journey to the sea front although i was informed at check in that a shuttle is available. The breakfast buffet was ok but probably a little on the expensive side. A recommended hotel for the money as long as you have a car.

Fab hotel a little bit far from the sea but the shuttle service is fantastic. Would recommend it very much. I was with my 5 year old son and he really enjoyed himself. Great value child's menu and overall great.

I stayed in this hotel whilst attending a conference here. With respect to the conference, that took place in the hotel, everything seemed well organised and prepared. One thing that was not very good was the food in the hotel. The breakfasts were amazing, a lot of choice from bakery and pancakes to eggs with bacon. The lunch or dinner however was a completely different story. The lunch at the conference was pretty bad. In my opinion, a side dish such as rice or potatoes should have been provided but never were. The deserts were the only thing that was delicious from the whole lunch menu. With respect to the room, it was clean, spacious and very practical. My room had a view of the hill and it was quite nice. The bathroom was nice, a bit run down though. Air-con worked very well. Iron and tea&coffee making facilities were also available. Comfortable and clean but a bit tired. The hotel is about 10-min walk from the sea. It does have a nice swimming pool and you are provided with a towel upon your arrival. I would recommend this hotel if that was the best one in this price range one could get. I personally would shop around for a hotel with a bit more French character.

We booked this hotel for our honeymoon on the basis of previous reviews and we weren't disappointed. The free parking was a huge bonus, the hotel was a 10 minute stroll from the beach and it was lovely. Our only points to note would be that the pool was quite chilly, the breakfast is extortionate at 19 euros each (walk into town, much cheaper and half the price!) and don't get anything from the mini-bar, again a rip-off! The tea/coffee facilities aren't great either, one teabag and 2 milks. The maid to service the room was very early sometimes, 8.30am. Otherwise a lovely stay and we will definitely be going back to this hotel if we visit the region again.

Sofa and main beds very uncomfortable with springs sticking out. Bar service not great and cocktails very disappointing. Quite a walk from main strip. Disappointing for a Novotel.

The hotel did not provide any advance notice they were making renovations to the pool area with pneumatic drilling all day with the exception of between 12-2pm. The noise was unbearable. 1 free drink per person was offered as compensation but one of the main reasons we selected this hotel was use of the pool. We would have preferred access to another hotel pool or private beach access was arranged. The rooms were small and did not smell particularly favourably. The air conditioning was poor leading to uncomfortable and sleepless nights. Overall the service by the hotel was good, we were just let down by the above.
