"Good value hotel close to Cannes "

8.0

This hotel is quite close to Cannes centre but is still a long walk from the main beach and harbour areas with a steep hill climb to get back. It has a corporate atmosphere with nothing happening. Very expensive food and drinks with no service around the pool. The pool and solarium area are really nice but the pool is deep. Good for swimmers but not for small children. We had a good three night stay the first week of Sept when the weather was glorious thankfully. The shuttle bus is a bonus if you can get on it as it only takes eight people and you need to book in advance at popular times. Last bus back is 10.30pm and one night they had overbooked and we got left in Cannes despite being first on the booking list. Not best pleased but the bus did come back for us after a twenty minute wait. Clean and comfortable room. If you book the cheapest standard room don't expect a sea view or sunny balcony.

"Nice hotel a bit out of town"

8.0

Had a very nice stay .The staff were all very nice and helpful. Our room was well maintained with a nice view over the swimming pool , with Cannes and the sea in the distance. We made good use of the hotel shuttle bus , as there is a bit of a walk to town.Going down was fine but there are some steep parts , so the walk back up can be a bit tiring , especially if you've been sightseeing around town , or trekking off to other parts. We had a few evening meals , in the restaurant , which were all very good (apart from the pea soup ! Neither of us enjoyed that starter but everything else was lovely) . We had the breakfast buffet , which was nice and fairly varied but not worth the 19 euros , I was told it would cost if you hadn't booked B&B .

"An experience you Cannes enjoy..."

8.0

I checked in on the 5th September with my partner and from the moment this happened, we both felt looked after and attended too. The staff, although not natural English speakers, gave very good conversation in English and understood our needs. The bus to the centre of Cannes was a very nice touch and saved us a lot of time, especially when carrying heavy luggage to get to the airport. The room itself upon arrival was very tidy and the bed was also very comfortable (although it was two singles pressed together) which we had no asked for. The views from our balcony were outstanding and enjoyed having the balcony to relax on. There were nice little touches that made the experience even better - such as the two complimentary waters, the towels given to us for the pool and free wifi. Overall a brilliant experience and will definitely look into returning in the near future.

"Nice hotel away from the noise"

8.0

Second time staying at this hotel, it's got a fresh appearance from the start, but the rooms are getting a little dated now. The pool is freezing, but lovely and very clean. It's 10 mins walk from the beach (don't know where some people get 20-30 mins walk from) and centre of Cannes, yet far enough away so you're not bugged by the noise. Free wifi and free parking which is a huge bonus, it's worth the walk into town knowing that you can get parked.

"Great location "

8.0

I had an enjoyable stay at this hotel. It is a pleasant 10 min walk to the sea front and within 5-6 mins of many restaurants and bars. The pool is pleasant but very shaded in most areas. The bed was extremely comfortable.

"Good if you have a car"

8.0

This is a good hotel, set in a nice area of Cannes, which is a good 15 minute walk to the Croisette. There is a shuttle from the hotel running once an hour, but this only carries eight people max. You have to pre-book places on the shuttle, but invariably the time slots available are not always convenient (I.e. No shuttle until lunchtime) and you cannot pre-book more than a day in advance. The staff driving the shuttle are not the most pleasant or cheerful in their manner. If you have a car the hotel location is no problem. The food in the restaurant is generally limited and over-priced.

"High standard, walking distance to central Cannes"

10.0

Can't fault this hotel - all the mod cons you'd expect, clean, spacious, incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Shuttle bus runs hourly but only 8 seats so book early. Only 10/15 mins walk to centre though so no hardship. Probably not easy if you're older, disabled or have kids. Super duper hotel - loved it!

Very nice to be near Cannes but situated in a quiet, more residential neighbourhood, with a lovely pool.

"Outstanding"

10.0

We had a wonderful stay and can't wait to go back there! The room was nice, big and clean. The staff were very nice and helpful. The parking is easy and free. The hotel has a free shuttle taking you to the "croisette"/the waterfront. The pool and pool area are pretty nice and the breakfast was excellent! Overall just a great place to stay.

"Good but depends what you are looking for.."

8.0

The hotel location worked for us because we had a hire car, and there was free parking in the basement. Beware you don't drive into the waste disposal area which is right next to the car park entrance. I think we got a pretty good deal for the flights and seperate rooms (just over £500 per person for 6 nights), but I found the meals a bit expensive, although the ones we had were good quality. It is probably better to choose rooms with the garden view. The one with the mountain (hill) view do suffer from a bit of road noise. The biggest disappointment for me was the pool area. I am slightly disabled, and I found the access awkward with no lift to that floor, and I also found the pool edges a bit narrow. Otherwise good hotel..
