Hotel Cannes Montfleury

Reception staff were very helpful on our arrival and check in was efficient. The car park was easily accessible and plenty of available spaces. Our room was a good size, the bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet of a night time. The air conditioning was nice and cool although a little noisy at times. Wifi throughout the hotel was free and very good. The room was cleaned well every day, although they did stop giving us milk for hot drinks after our first day, we think it was because we had bought our own and put it in the fridge in the room. I would have preferred to have proper cups to make hot drinks in rather that the recyclable paper ones provided, washing a paper cup so that you can re-use it more that once in a day is not great. The hotel is situated up a hill and it is about a 25 minute walk to the main harbour area, we are both in our mid 50s and not super fit but we didn't find it a too difficult walk at a leisurely pace, even getting back up the hill. We ate several times in the hotel restaurant and the food was lovely. It wasn't overly expensive in comparison to other restaurants in the centre and the service was excellent. The pool area was clean and tidy, although it was busy at times and we couldn't always get a sun bed, but I suppose that is to be expected at the height of the summer holidays. All in all a very enjoyable stay and we would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone considering staying in then Cannes area.

Pleasant friendly hotel in a quiet area of Cannes about a 10-15 minute walk to the centre. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the rooms were very clean. Most of the hotel was very modern but the rooms are looking a little tired and dated and in need of a refurbishment to match the rest of the hotel.

Our third visit and a lovely time at the Monttfleur excellent food including breakfast! Reception staff very helpful restaurant team very helpful but breakfast is rather chaotic and the bloody pigeons! The transport to and from Cannes fills up quickly so bit of hike up the hill. All in though thoroughlye enjoyable stay hoping to return soon.

Second time we have stayed at this hotel and had a great time staff friendly and accommodating lovely pool area to sit around good vale for money

Hotel has pool and free shuttle to the city center. Great A/C for Europe! Definitely recommend! With the exception of the dining area, the staff weren't very friendly.

Hotel is in quiet area not far from seafront.Courtesy bus can be booked to go down to main area and back every hour until 10pm.The pool area is perfect.Towels supplied.Sun all day.Some shaded areas ,umbrellas and comfy sun beds.Room was good with decent balcony.Carparking is underground garage which is free.Only complaint was the bar service was very slow and expensive. 1 large beer 8.50 euro .1 diet coke 5.50? Would stay here again.

It was all good - apart from awful service from the staff except for one lovely bar man.

The hotel itself is great, staff were very helpful and polite. The down side was the location; it's a winding walk downhill into Cannes, fine during daylight but definitely need a taxi back in the evening.
