Hotel Cannes Montfleury

Sound insulation is too bad, I can clear hear words of people's talking from next door, and was woke several in the middle of the night by the sound of door shutting from other room.

Nice hotel tucked away from Cannes about 10 minutes walk from Rue Antibes. I had quite a few issues with the hotel. Upon arrival the elevators were both no working and I was requested to lug my luggage to the third floor via a fire escape. Shower had some issues and floor would get flooded. On the whole this is not a bad choice but the outside could do with a paint and some rooms clearly need a refit.

We visited the hotel when the season was just about to end in October and and place was pretty empty, which is normal. The biggest selling point for me was that one of the picture showed an indoor swimming pool which we all looked forward to as I expected the weather won't grant the use of the outdoor pool. As it turned out the hotel doesn't have an indoor pool but the public activity centre does right next to the hotel which is not part of the complex and it requires tickets to be purchased. The location is quiet but a bit remote from the centre. Would recommend to use the hotel with a hire car and drive down to the centre or take the courtesy shuttle bus or get an uber which will cost you around 5-6 €. Parking can be done for free if a space is found on the streets around, which is a total game of luck, but we always managed to find a gap to park the car into. Otherwise it's 15 € per day in the underground park below the hotel. Breakfast and the lunch room was really nice but the food selection is the same every day with mix of hot and cold options. Staff had been brilliant and over helpful no matter what the request was, hats off to them, great experience! Overall, would visit again.

Very comfortable bed, generous room size and complimentary toiletries. Good value for money and great choice at breakfast.

Apparently the season is over on the 20th August Which is not on there website when booked The restaurant by the pool was closed As was the pool bar Nowhere to have lunch or even to have a drink There was a conference at the hotel Which was way more important than us guests one day they shut the pool At 4.30 - to be only used by the guests at the conference The hotel is v reasonable Book my advice only visit in July or beginning on August

The hotel was clean and well presented although a major downside was the poor air-conditioning in the reception areas. The room air-con was fine and the pool area was spacious and clean. This was one of the few hotels that had a pool, was only a short stroll from the sea front and overall the hotel represented very good value for money.

We were booked in by the receptionist promptly and our room overlooking the pool was spacious and the bed comfortable. Room service was late each day and always happened when we were back in our room early to late afternoon. On our last day our soap was removed and not replaced.

Nice location but a longer walk to city center.

Nice hotel, clean well presented rooms, good value, quiet location, friendly staff. Only criticism would be that the beds in twin room were tiny.
