Village Hotel Manchester Cheadle

Fantastic friendly staff. Room was spotless and the bed was super comfy. We traveled with two children and there was plenty of space for all 4 of us in a family room.

Nothing.

Stayed here a couple of times recently and enjoyed the well-equipped gym. However, I had a very poor experience when checking out. I noticed a charge I did not recognise on my credit card. The hotel initially said they would investigate, but I had to chase for a response. The hotel then confirmed that the charge related to another guest, but did not respond to requests for a refund. Update: Following this review and further escalation, the hotel has now acknowledged the error, issued a refund, and offered an apology and a complimentary night’s stay. However, this only occurred after I initiated a chargeback with my card provider and contacted head office. It was disappointing that it took this level of effort to resolve what was clearly an error, and that earlier communication and follow-up were lacking.

No wardrobe or chair in room. Lighting in near both the room and bathroom mirror was dim. There were several of us staying there and all said the same

Very noisy room. Room service QR code didn't work with no other way to order given, other than going down to bar/reception to order which was not ideal.
