Good location and clean refurbished rooms.

The QR code to order room service had been scratched off and there was no other way to order. The staff were unhelpful regarding this. I had to order at the busy bar and carry my food and drink across the hotel to my room which was really uncomfortable. If you’re going to remove the telephone from the room then at least have a working option on the app etc to order.

Popped down into the Starbucks in the village hotel after lunch and it was a really nice little stop. Abi on the till was very polite and welcoming and pushed me toward a lovely pastry when I couldn’t decide (trying to save calories but glad I didn’t!!), and Jason making the drinks was excellent, my flat white was spot on with a lovely little milk pattern on top which is always a lovely bonus! Felt easy and pleasant overall, will happily visit again.

Room was great but if im being pedantic the TV was not very easy to operate. Good shower though which i do like in a room.

Room was spacious amd clean. Reception brought us an extra heater when the standard one wasn't strong enough. All staff were super helpful but we would partcularly thank Babs who assisted us in getting perfectly cooked breakfast in the sunshine.

I was disappointed with the katsui chicken curry I ordered in the evening. Two hunks of breaded chicken with a meagre portion of katsui sauce thinly scraped on top. I cook this at home so I know what it should be like.

Nice hotel and location for what I needed. Comfortable big bed, nice warm shower.

Confusing parking arrangements signs say one thing staff say another. Fully expecting a parking fine! Walking in to a dark room and tripping over a sofa pretty much in front of the door wasn’t ideal. Why are the sofa/loungers located so close to the door and making access to the room so difficult? Corridor carpet looked like it could get up and walk out the building on its own accord.
