Porto Sisi Hotel Apartments

We stayed at Porto Sisi Hotel Apartments for 8 days: the complex is perfectly located in the lovely village of Sisi, on the sea front, 2 minuted walk to lovely bars and tavernas and to a very well protected beach. The apartment had all we needed, recently renovated with great taste. It was also cleaned even more often than we expected. The owner Anthi is lovely, always available to give useful information. We cannot wait to go back there and will recommend it to everyone for sure.

Everything was perfect and just as reviewed & pictures. Our room was spotless, appointed exactly as described and just right for two. Hostess Anthi was very helpful & unobtrusive unless needed, then she was available as she lives in site. Best spot for sea view & sunsets, moments from lots of tavernas & coffe bars. Swim in the sea or the perfect pool. Excellent grocery across the street, brilliant Anatoli Taverna beside it where we ate many nights. Cretan living at its best; will definitely return once we save up for another trip!

Situated a few minutes walk from the centre of Sisi and its pretty little harbour, this was an excellent base from which to explore the east end and centre of Crete. Whilst meals can be prepared in the apartment, with such a large choice of very reasonably priced bars and restaurants so near at hand, many either on the edge of the sea or harbour, eating out was a simple choice. For other meals there is a supermarket opposite the hotel entrance a minute or so from most of the apartments, so provisions could be bought as needed on a daily basis. Sisi is easy to access from the New Road that runs from Hiraklion to Agios Nikolaos - about 40 minutes drive from Hiraklion airport. Parking in Sisi is limited in the village but we always found a place, and there is also a large newly tarmaced (during our stay) car park about 100 metres from the hotel - the hotel has no parking. We will definately be thinking of going back.

Nice and clean apartment in a small well designed complex. Just a quick walk to all the local harbour/seafront shops and restaurants and a couple of lovely beaches nearby too. Easy and stress free living giving you lots of choices to just stay local or use it as a base camp and explore the island from here. The local restaurants are all about fresh local food and the atmosphere is friendly and caring. Great place to have a relaxing holiday fully recommended!

The apartment we had no 11 was really nice and clean all been updated the best bathroom i have had in greece , The owner anthi was nice but had quite a few rules felt sometimes as if i was at school , we only had one key / card for electric in apartment which we were told we could not separate but this was a problem as i get up early and if i went out there was no aircon or electric for light in bathroom so this was a real problem also there are 14 apartments and only 10 sunbeds as we were a famliy of 5 and have teenage children that wanted a sunbed i was asked for the children to sit on the walls this was not acceptable as i had paid for them and they should not have to sit or lay on the concrete wall , other than this it was a great holiday location is excellant.

Great appartments in a great location in a quieter Crete resort than nearby Mallia. Anthi, the proprietor, is very friendly and helpful with excursion suggestions and places to eat. Would recommend a car as Sisi is quite small and you may want to wander out to the Plateau (in the mountains) or nearby Agios Nicolaos. During the season there are several car rental places in the village and also travel agents arranging excursions. Will visit again!!!

Anchi is a tremendous host and Sisi Apartments a lovely place to stay.

These apartments are delightful. They are clean and quiet and close to both the sea and the small town. The style is tradiitonal Greek, the owner is charming and helpful and we could not have asked for more. We intend to come back as soon as we can.

It is a one bedroom apartment with only one air condition in the bedroom. No air condition in the living area. No breakfast. One old T.V in the bedroom and again non in the living area. The shower is 2 by 2 and very annoying. The place is old and not well taken care of.I will not recommend it to a family.

I could not have asked for anything better. The Cretan sea surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea was breath-taking. The beaches were amazingly clean. Was quite impressed by the men working all day long in keeping the beaches clean. The location was excellent. The supermarket was right across from the Resort and the gift shops were quite closeby too. The facilities at the Resort were excellent so that I did not have to go out to eat. I was able to make my own meals. After a refreshing shower in the morning I left the Resort with a backpack and stayed out on the beach all day long and thoroughly enjoyed the serenity and the peace of the place. The owner of the Resort was exceptionally helpful. She saw to it that I was very comfortable. She even took me on a trip to some near by cities, free of charge. I would highly recommend this hotel.
