"Good food&splendid view - tiny cleanliness problem"

We've booked the captain suite (without the balcony). Our room boasts of great view with the river, which was splendid. The suite is a bit old as that can be seen from the window frames and sockets. The carpet had some tiny stains, which seemed to have been used for quite a long time. The armchairs were comfy but it's not absolutely clean. Besides from that, it was overall a fair experience for the good food provided at the restaurant and the great view with the sea. Would really recommend for a nice weekend trip but if you're a person who cares very much about hygiene and cleanliness you probably need to think twice before making a reservation.

Good room that was spacious and clean. Not many plug point if you need to have your computer and phone charging at the same time. Otherwise excellent.

Nice view, easy check in, clean room. Awful mattress, sheets and the worst pillows I have ever experienced. Bathrooms need updating.

"Claustrofobic."

They reserved a cellar room for me. The room did have no balcony, now windows, no entry for fresh air. The room was cold and had no functioning heating system (radiator). There was a "airco unit" producing larm instead of heat..... A terrible experience.

Lovely hotel and location, room was superb for the money I also took my dog and was still given a nice room. Only negative was the reception staff were quite miserable and the cost of the restaurant food was very expensive for what you got
