Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel nice and quietl

I didn't know that La Defense is outside of Paris. But it was only 1 min walk from the Metro station M1- La Defense station. So it was still very convenient. Lobby was a bit small but the bar looks nice. I didn't spend much time in the hotel so all in all it was a good experience.

It's conveniently located neart a metro station. The staff is friendly and helpful. We also liked the buffet breakfast.

We picked the Sofitel bc of the name/brand and were very disappointed. Let’s start with the good: we were traveling with our four-year-old and they set up a cot for us in advance of our arrival which was lovely. And, they have Hermès bath products. The room was clean enough (it’s an old hotel), but there were dirty glasses and napkins outside our door when we arrived. The glasses were still there the next morning when we left at 11:00, which isn’t really a big deal, but our bath towels were not clean. We found a booger on a wash cloth, and as my husband dried himself after the shower his towel distinctly smelled like urine. Gross and gross. Our coffee machine was broken (in fairness they tried to bring us a new one, but we were rushing to leave). The hotel is under construction, which we knew because I had read reviews mentioning it, and the workers accidentally set off the fire alarm at 7:30 AM. Clearly not the hotel’s fault, but given everything else we experienced it was the last straw. Upon check out when I mentioned our issues staff offered to pay for my $15 vodka and soda from the night before. I suggested maybe they could buy us breakfast, and they said they would come the drink OR breakfast. Didn’t seem like Sofitel service to me.

Over all very nice hotel and Comfortable I’ve been in

Extremely comfortable bed. Complementary water bottles given. Friendly staff. Luxury room size was not very big. Wardrobe was tiny. Frosted window of bathroom resulted in too much light entering the room. Daytime was noisy due to renovations in hotel - this was not mentioned on website. Small reception and breakfast area.

The overall property and staff were fine. I only had an issue with my bathroom. The shower drain and head were clogged. I informed the staff but it didn’t get resolved.

The shower was always hot, from burning to boiling. I reserved a room with a view, and the only thing I saw was the offices in front. Really expensive for these flaws.

Staff were great, looked after us on our 10 year anniversary

We believe that the staff went above and beyond. Antione was a great representative for the Hotel.
