Best Western Salisbury Plaza

My husband and I stayed here for the Seagull Century ride. We selected this location for its proximity and frankly because none of the hotels we wanted to stay were available. The location is great and we were able to find restaurant and the University (the Seagull Century event location) easily. Our room had a strong chlorine smell coupled with moldy smell. The two made it difficult to breath coupled with the very hard bed, I got little rest. The floor was sticky so had to keep shoes one to walk around due to the ick factor being so high. We only had coffee from the breakfast which was quite good. Did not try the food or pool. Parking which is gated was convenient right in front of our room. Front desk check-in/check-out was friendly but be aware there is a $100 fee for "incidentals". Overall it got me through the night still alive with minor breathing issue due to the chlorine and mold. I do not plan to stay at this location again and would not recommend it due to the high price for not good accommodations. If you decide to stay here recommend to bring your slippers, air purifier, gloves etc to improve your overall stay experience. Best of Luck!

Not so good

Room was musty, door was not well secured in the frame

Disappointed with this hotel experience as it placed its few patrons far away from the lobby, served breakfast that was not hot with items not fresh, and had no room TV, in addition to no shampoo and little body wash for a shower. It also asked for a service fee to be held for room damage, something not disclosed during the booking of this room. Had it not been for the convenience of this location to my work venue, I most likely would have gone elsewhere.

Check-in was friendly outside of learning there would be a deposit charged for room damage which was not presented upon booking the room. Room was lacking TV, shampoo, and TP. The breakfast was not hot, despite arriving right at 7A. The personnel are a plus for this hotel with the overall experience rated low due to general items a venue of this price range put forth.

Rooms were clean front staff ladies were excellent.

Bathroom need to be updated for three price your paying. Didn't like the maintenance man knock on the door and walking in at 10 15 pm.just to say sorry wrong room.

When we arrived to check in the staff had no idea what rooms were clean. The first room they gave us had mold all around the top of the wall by the ceiling. We asked for another room, which they did provide, but on walking in both beds looked laid on there was a pile of sticky goo on the floor and black chucks of something on the floor. I asked to be refunded, and the staff on location said they would refund it, but that never happened. I would not recommend this place.
