Was a good little hotel for what we needed
The room looked direct from the nineteen seventies, and I think the pube in the bathroom was a bit disgusting
Booked 4 rooms. 1st room window wouldn’t open. Managed to be allocated with different room. 2nd room bathroom floor flooded on 2nd night, we were moved to another room where the window handle was broken, requested another move to be then moved to another room where the window was nailed closed so we couldn’t open it. Dirty curtains. Floor stank of cigarette smoke. 3rd room - had to be moved due to smell of smoke in the room. Overall bad experience. We had to request towels as none in our room on arrival.
Not good services
Very disappointed with this hotel on arrival check in was ok friendly receptionist, when we got to our room it wasn't cleaned from the person befor the bed was a mess whith a wet towel on it and a dirty one in the bathroom . Reception was happy to help and moved us to one the had been cleaned. I would recommend that management check the rooms befor people go into them and make sure they are clean as the one we moved to wasnt

Not grand in any sense of the word
This hotel needs updating ,the bathroom needs a major refurb .The towels were very small and paper thin ,no bath mat ,that is not safe when getting out of the bath . Not enough staff ,nobody came to our room in the 3 days that we were there. The front entrance is a disgrace full of tab ends ,bin overflowing with rubbish and glass bottles .This hotel chain needs to start upgrading there hotels .
Not great but not bad either. Bed comfy and staff attentive. Hotel rooms felt dated but overall clean. For £100 plus would expect kettle & coffee/tea. Would stay again though.
