Extended Stay America Suites - Fort Worth - Fossil Creek

I thought the staff was great and was working with myself and my family. Until we started being harassed!!!! about smoking, wifi, the phone, and their maintenance issues.

The first couple of things were the tub had a crack in it. The TV was burnt on the screen face, and I could not adjust the picture color or brightness, meaning we could not enjoy watching the tv. On top of that, I was charged $31 and some change for wifi when I was told it was free. I was also charged for using the phone $1 a call. I asked the attendant at the front desk why I was being charged for wifi and was told I subscribed for a month of wifi when I knew I didn't I also asking it could be taken off and was told it wasn't anything they could do about it. So, there is no need to ask for an explanation on the phone charges. Now, please keep in mind I wasn't planning on staying for a month, so why would I subscribe for a month of wifi? Here's the kicker from the 1st up to the 24th. we were in room 324 when a knock on the door from one of the attendants.

Nothing. They canceled our stay without warning.

Everything. We had to find another hotel.

At check the guy was rude didnt know what he was doing. Got to the room Floors were soft and wavy. Came accrossed some roaches. Toilet moved when you sat on it.

The location.

Upon entrance the lobby wasn't welcoming at all - the only seating was one couch and it looked filthy dirt. The lobby, hallways and our room smelled like Indian food, stinky sweaty feet, cigarette smoke, and wet dog. There were baby cock roaches in the bathroom sink. The bathroom sink fixtures and toilet paper holder fell apart when used. I talked to the front desk attendants who apologized, but they couldn't do anything to help that smell - nothing could have gotten rid of the smells and general feelings of "ick".

Chose this place

Went to Texas for the USA National Karate tournament. First reason for renting here was the kitchen and second was the breakfast. Well needless to say we got none. Breakfast consisted of coffee and sometimes a muffin no garantees. The kitchen in the room had nothing, no pots, jo plates not silverware or coffee pot. We were told to ask for them and if available they would give to us. Well they were never available. The room was dirty, smelled bad and had roaches everywhere. They came on our 2nd day there to fumigate and everything was sprayed all over the floor leaving it sticky. No room service other then every 5 days. You have to take your own trash out. Parking lot is dark and people are always sitting in their cars. Elevator never stopped at the 2nd floor so we had to go up to come back down. Staff was very rude. I got there an hour before check in and was told 3pm sharp, after traveling all day with a child that was not what i wanted. Hallways are dark and smell. Doors barely closed right. My son and i felt so unsafe the entire time we were there. Rooms are dark. My drapes were always wet no idea why. AC unit was held by 2x4s and when i asked the front desk she said oh yeah they are all like that. Terrible.

Pool cemented, bugs,old,fridge not working and no kitchen items as advertised cold showers

The door hinge was broke the toilet was clogged, the room smelled badly the staff was incompetent the room was dirty

The room was unclean had hair all over the floor by the window... The toilet felt like you were gonna fall off it when you sat on it there is a soft spot on the floor between the bathroom door and the stove. Had no pots and pans available for 24hr.
