Loch Fyne Hotel & Spa

The view, the convenience of the spa and treatments as good availability and service. The lounge area was very cosy and dog friendly which was a huge bonus. Staff very friendly, ensured our little dog had a sausage every morning for breakfast and a seat at the dining table. The hotel manager was lovely, very chatty and also dog friendly (would have liked to have spoken to him at departure but wasn’t available).

There were no grounds to walk in or explore, the parking was very limited and the exterior of the property was scruffy. The tv in our room didn’t work, we had to update it and even then the WiFi was very hit and miss causing it to be extremely slow and buffer when watching a film. The bathroom had no functional extractor fan, the sink was blocked constantly and the toilet flush was extremely weak. Added to that the noise from upstairs and the corridor was never ending. We had housecleaning hoovering outside at 6am and wanting to clean our room at random times and there was no air con or ability to open the window widely enough to keep the room comfortable with the heat. On our last evening, we were looking forward to a lovely meal but were moved from one table to another and the menu was extremely limited and expensive. Bar and service were also pricey!

The staff are so friendly here! It really made for a nice experience. The location and view are gorgeous, and the spa amenities are very very nice! It’s such a cute place! The pool was wonderful as well as the salt room. I love that they have a nice changing room down there as well. The place has such great atmosphere, and the surroundings are lovely. I can’t overstate how friendly the staff were! Very helpful and kind, ready to help make food, drink or excursion recommendations.

The only concern was that the pull out couch seemed very old and uncomfortable, so my kid wouldn’t have been able to stay there long term, but it was totally fine for a couple of nights, and the comfort level pretty accurately matched the price. If I had been paying a really high price I would have been annoyed at the couch, but the property was so lovely and such a good value!

The staff, especially the restaurant and bar staff are wonderful.

The place is a bit tired, worn areas, ripped cushions and worn curtains. For the price you would expect more.

The hotel is in a beautiful location. It is extremely well presented, characterful and impeccable clean.

There was nothing to dislike.

The hotel is old, but it is very good. It is located in front of a lake, has a clean spa, and the location is very peaceful and quiet.

The location is far, the parking spaces are limited, and there is no air conditioning.
