Beautiful location, spotless property nice rooms too and very cosy and warm and pool/Spa was fantastic with a stunning view, great selection for breakfast. Very friendly staff and didn’t bother or fuss over you which is great when wanting a quiet break, lovely coal fire too which we absolutely loved and loads of wee places to sit seating area outside was nice. Dog friendly hotel which was nice

Menu for food wasn’t to our liking but can’t please everyone wasn’t bad food just not what we wanted.We actually found it really difficult to get a meal at night. This would definitely put us off staying in Inveraray again. No fridge in room either for water and one think that really did bother us was getting charged £5+ for latte with my breakfast never ever have I paid extra for a breakfast to be included then had to pay separately for a latte found this strange.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was large and excellent, and was what we had booked online (although we had to ask to be moved to the room we wanted - they put us in an inferior room at first). Breakfast was excellent. Spa, pool, and steam rooms were clean and well maintained.

Like many hotels in UK provinces, there are some minor downers. Staff smoking shack was just outside the backdoor (and one of our waiters came straight from there and stank of cigarette smoke). Piles of laundry and rubbish bins made the parking lot look low-budget. There is a fabulous outside hot tub and sauna which are "private", but only if you like being open to being viewed from the people and cars in the parking lot. One of the lighted mirrors in the bathroom was broken when we arrived (and it was partly "fixed" immediately, though the light never turned on)
