Lobstick Lodge

Spent two nights at Lobstick Lodge on a Canadian adventure. It's easy walking distance to the centre of Jasper. It is a 15 minute walk from the railway station if you arrive from either the Via Rail 'The Canadian Train' or the Rocky Mountaineer. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to leave our luggage after arriving very early in the morning, they called us when our room was available. Additionally, they have self use laundry facilities which are really useful if you're doing a long tour and travelling light. Room was clean and large with two queen size beds. Mostly quiet but there is some train noise but then the whole town is built along the railway and this is the main reason for the towns historic existence. The pool was nice addition to relax in after a day sightseeing.

Coffee shpp was closed. We had to go next door to Chateau for breakfast. Which was average.

Staff. The fact on your site you say you have an Atm and signs in the hotel lobby opposite reception desk say you have an Atm. You dont have one. Please remove this from your website and lobby and stop misleading people. We had to walk into town to go to an Atm because cans in Jasper omly take cash.

No microwave oven or fridge

Happy with location, room was a good size. Beds were large and comfortable. Room was clean. Very friendly and very helpful staff.

Room was a little hot. Had to carry up large suitcases up a set of stairs.
