Quite a tired old property and bedrooms gloomy with poor lighting. Self service breakfast was ok.

"This was much more than a budget hotel - exceptional !"

Well located close to Motorway to Cardiff . Yet well sound proofed with secure parking . Staff were exceptional . As when we had a small problem with light bulbs that couldn’t be resolved they offered us a new room and upgrade immediately . Nice to be able to find food and a bar still open when string after a long journey. Swimming pool a real treat and everywhere was super clean . Well worth a visit and reasonably priced - in such a different league to local competitors - (HI exp & PI )Will be booking again . Part of the Celtic manor group and easy access to Celtic .

"Overpriced motel that charges for parking, and doesn’t provide basic amenities in rooms."

Nothing. We wont return.

No towels in the room. No tea or coffee. No shampoo or shower gel. Pool was out for maintenance and the only reason we booked here. Extortionate amount for parking on top of an already excessively overpriced room. This hotel is just off the M4 and offered nothing to warrant the price of the room or parking.
