Malmaison Leeds

We had 20+ rooms for a work Christmas party and the experience was great. From the reservations team assisting with the booking through to the staff at the hotel. The reception was well prepared with our guest list and room allocations. The rooms were clean, spacious and welcoming and we enjoyed drinks in the bar too before heading out. A much needed breakfast was enjoyed the following morning.

Booking a meeting room was easy to coordinate with great communication from the event organisers who are very helpful and accommodating. The venue is great and the location of the hotel is ideal both for driving and use of public transport. I would happily book again and would recommend to others

We had a fabulous meal in Chez Mal, the food was excellent. We were looked after in the restaurant by Evie who was perfectly attentive.

I don’t tend to eat in hotels but glad I did good was annazing. Service was great too by Evie. Highly recommend next time in Leeds. Fresh Crab Tacos - I will be back!

We booked afternoon tea in a private room for a reunion event. The staff, especially Abby, were very attentive. The food and drink were served at appropriate times. It was well presented and enjoyable to eat.

My friend and I came into the bar for a bite to eat during our shopping trip. The bar was nice. We ordered our drinks . Then we had to go to the bar again to ordered our food. We both got the turkey wrap with fries . They took a while to come out. When they did we weren’t given any cutlery or asked if we wanted condiments. We had to go to the bar yet again to ask for these . After almost 10 mins our mayo and salt came but no cutlery . By this time we just wanted to leave as our food was cold. Such a bad experience and to top it off to be charged 12.5% service change . What service . Almost £40 for 2 wraps and 2 portions of fries and poor doesn’t leaves a sting in the tail . I’m usually a massive Mal fan and love the brand . But this was so disappointing . I was going to book Mal Leeds for my husband’s birthday in April but after this experience. I don’t think I will bother . The wrap itself wasn’t too bad but they fries tasted fishy . Maybe the oil it’s been cooked in was tainted . Not great of you have one of the major 14 allergens.

I extend my heartfelt thanks to each and every one of the Malmaison events team in Leeds for hosting our early 2025 Christmas party. The whole team was absolutely fantastic, demonstrating an impressive combination of helpfulness, positivity, and politeness throughout the entire event. I understand that managing a group of 100 partying people can be quite a challenge, but they all handled it with such grace and efficiency. Their efforts did not go unnoticed and contributed immensely to the success of the event, making it a memorable occasion for everyone.

We selected the Malmaison Leeds for our Annual User Group meeting. This consists of two events over two days and a dinner on the night in between. The Malmaison team (shout out to Michelle!) were extremely accessible and accommodating. We had varying requirements for each element of the event and accommodation and all were met with enthusiasm and zero drama. Although I organised the event I did not attend in person but I have been reliably informed that the lunches were the best they'd ever had at one of these events! Thank you so much :-)

Stayed for two nights, we loved our stay! Marta checked us in efficiently and helped with all our requests. Had dinner the first night, special thanks to Ellis, Jade and Larissa in brasserie, we felt welcomed and not rushed even though it was busy. Truffle fries are a must order really enjoyed them with the falafel burger. Everything’s pretty close to the hotel, very central for food and shops. Thank you for having us!

Good location and rooms are clean and comfortable. Zeinab on reception was so welcoming and friendly- stay for work trips and she pointed out some good spots to go to
