"Great experience for friends birthday"

"Decent stay"

Stayed in a signature suite on level 2. Aircon wasn’t great stuck on 21! Anyway opened window bit noisy but it chilled the room. Very nice breakfast but on return to the room overpowering smell of raw sewage in the room / bathroom. Rung reception straight away to report waited around for bloke to investigate then just left as he hadn’t turned up. Would return great breakfast as ever.

Wasn’t told when booking this hotel that there would be scaffolders dismantling scaffolding outside my room all day. Also, playing music at full volume and singing. If I was told about this I would have booked a different hotel.

"Excellent"

The room was great size, nice and clean. My only issue was the coldness of the staff I emailed. I told them this is a special occasion as we got married on that day and bought additional extras which were provided but they left a note of "happy anniversary.." Well its a tiny thing but that extra bit of attention would have been great. Also maybe just say congrats in the email when you hear someone is getting married and want to stay at your hotel, its not that hard. :) Overall I would still rate our stay as great, room was outstanding and the view was great.

"Outstanding Service from Zeinab at Malmaison Leeds"

I had a really positive experience at Malmaison Leeds this week. A special thank you to Zeinab at reception who checked me in. She noticed in conversation that I’ve just started a new role in Leeds and will be staying regularly, and without me even asking, she took the time to share future options for discounts and deals. It was such a thoughtful touch and exactly the kind of balance of professionalism and friendliness you hope for after a long day. It genuinely set me up well for what was otherwise a challenging week of work. Great service, and I’ll definitely be back. Team that with a nice room, good coffee and a couple biscuits. Is all I need from a hotel!

Breakfast was a painful experience. I was shown into a corner - and felt like I was forgotten - no-one took my order, I had to ask, and everything took too long. I was promised a VAT receipt would be brought over, this was also forgotten.
