Camel's Garden Hotel

Pros - Lovely room, bathrobes, big bathroom, comfortable beds & pillows, great outdoor jacuzzi & sauna, very clean, nice lounges to hang out in, fireplace in room (but not operational in summer) & right next door to the gondola. Cons - AC ran continuously but only cooled half the room well & not the bathroom. The only mirror was in the bathroom so if someone is showering no one else can get ready. The balcony was a nice feature but our view wasn't good and there was no little table to set a cup on. Breakfast was just OK - no hot items; just breads, yogurt parfaits, cereal. You also have to pay extra for parking.

Great location, close to restaurants and the gondola! Rooms were generous size and a good breakfast was included.

This is our most favorite place to stay in Telluride. Great staff , great rooms and condos and perfect location . We have stayed both in the rooms and the various condos . They have everything you need as well as covered parking . The morning complimentary breakfast is just perfect and healthy . There is an onsite restaurant as well as a spa . This is our 10th stay here and we just love it . And most of all , Autumn , the manager is the best !

Overall, we were happy with our stay. I thought the property was a little outdated, but the location was perfect and the breakfast was good. There was barely any parking. Be aware that there is an additional charge to park, and there is some type of service fee as well. We agreed to a partial credit since I didn't recall being told. Instead of the credit, I was charged again. I'm still trying to fix this. We did enjoy the hot tub, and my daughter enjoyed the steam room. It was one of the more affordable stays in Telluride.

Brutal underground parking lot. Weirdly cold and aloof front desk staff. I've never experienced it before. It was like they were mad at you. Beautiful area, comfortable room, lovely breakfast. Good value for an expensive area. But staff was really curt and cold. The opposite of welcoming. Strange experience.

loved this hotel, room was huge and very nice and the free breakfast was really good (lox & cream cheese bagels!) also super close walking distance to the grocery store and tons of food options

Nice location

We didn’t really know what to expect with this hotel, but we absolutely loved it. The whole vibe of the place was fun and laid back. We enjoyed the beautiful views from the hot tub. The staff was incredibly friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was almost all carbs with yogurt and smoked salmon this morning, but we typically don’t rely on hotel breakfast because we are generally clean eaters, but we will definitely be back.

Parking was an issue. Limited.
