Holiday Lodge

I stayed here for two days. The place is clean. The staff friendly and courteous. I would do it again. Price and continental breakfast were superb. For your travel budget it is well worth staying here.

The hotel staff made me feel uncomfortable, he reached into my wallet as he walked by thinking it was funny. Being a female by myself I did not like that at all. The rooms were small with an unfamiliar smell. The bed was uncomfortable and I was afraid to shower in the room; you could see mold near the bath tub. I left early in the morning due to not being able to sleep or comfort.

Hotel looked like roaches paid rent there too

Staff was okay...but the best part of this hotel stay was when I left. Horrible building that should be completely renovated or condemned. I don’t understand how it passed city building codes for that county.

location is okay if you are going to Greensboro. the staff was accommodating. but do not expect the ritz... the hotel is old and in need of renovations. room was pretty rough

The bed springs poked us and made horrible sounds every tome we moved. Didn’t sleep between the sheets, as they were stained! The bathroom was disgusting and the shower head had a leak that spewed water EVERYWHERE, including all over our belongings! (By the looks of the bathroom walls, ceiling and mirrors, it had obviously done the same thing before.). Plenty of mirrors-most were dirty or broken. The hotel was supposed to be smoke free-IT REAKED OF CIGARETTE SMOKE!! The only good thing was that they had removed the carpeting in the room and replaced it with some kind of laminate flooring! This was one of the worst, and to top it off, we got to pay $133.00 for it all!! Had it not been that it was late and we had nowhere else to go, we would have moved on!

because it was Master's week they upcharged. the room was not appealing; an eyesore. Queen bed mattress creased to the center. TV didn't work. Cords for TV exposed and hanging across room. window screen sheared. no closet in room at all. no lamp in room. one bolt holding toilet to floor missing so toilet "moves". bathroom tile grouting filthy. bathroom smells of urine. tub shower very slippery; no safety bars to hold on to. dangerous! reeked of tobacco smoke in hallway. would not have stayed if there were options. Rxxx at front desk was helpful.

We were tired from a long trip, we arrived at this place, it took a while for the person at the front desk to find our reservation, the room smelled bad and I didn’t feel safe, definitely if I were driving without my husband, I would had left.

It seems as though the review system is only given by those who have a bad experience. Out of the hundreds that stay in the hotel the handful give a review which is bad. The hotel is overall great. I feel that this hotel deserves better ratings because the reviews are somewhat skewed to represent the bad experiences. I have had a great experience everytime I visit this hotel during Masters Week. The front desk clerk in the morning is extremely helpful. She makes sure your experience is well worth the money you pay. I feel that many who give this place a bad review try to get their money back. However, its a great hotel for its price. The deluxe bedding is very reminiscent of a 4 star bedding. If you want the best experience, try to make it as smooth as possible. If your reservation is very tricky or you come unprepared to provide a reservation name, etc. the experience will obviously be stressful. It is extremely important to realize they are humans to working with what they receive from the reservation.

Never will I book through Expedia again. This hotel was nothing like they stated and could not get any refund
