Holiday Lodge

If I could rate this lower I would. This hotel is completely awful. When we walked in, it smelt of raging Marijuana. The front desk man was so high he couldnt even talk straight. They have to hand you your remote for the TV in the room, the carpet was WET from the room being so muggy and the bottom of my feet were sticky from walking on the carpet. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. The beds were dirty. Please, avoid this hotel. The front desk man was eyeing my 2 teenage girls. Long story short, we did not even stay. We left after scoping the room out and told the man we did not like the rooms. Do not stay here, save your time and money.

after arriving, we checked in and once we saw the rooms, we asked for a refund which we didn't receive. The conditions was horrible, if Expedia has interest in continuing to make reservations for such facilities, I will never use Expedia services again. We do ask for a refund as we had '2' rooms. We left and drove 2+ hours and an additional 2+ hours the next morning to return to the event we were participating in. Couple of the most significant issues: 1. all the doors of rooms not reserved were propped open 2. keys along with a TV remote was given at the same time 3. the rooms were dark with scarred/broken mirrors over the bed. 4. mis-matched furniture 5. a single car was parked in the parking area . . .it had grass/weeds growing around the tires.

Could not even stay, it was gross. The room was dirty, stained mattress, paint peeling, hair on the sheets, loose wiring for the light fixtures outside.

A very strange place! Only one person spoke English, and he also cut the grass, repaired the A/C, etc., etc. The A/C didn't work in the first room we were put into (it was so hot), and we were then placed in a handicapped room where the A/C REALLY worked. Here are the things we had to ask the non-English speaking staff for during our stay: cups, towels, hair dryer, toilet paper. We came back to the room after the first day and found our door propped wide open and no one around. Was it being cleaned? No way to know. You can tell you are in for a bad stay when they give you the remote control for your TV when you check in. On a positive note, the room had a fridge and microwave, and the bed was comfortable. The "continental breakfast" was sketchy.

Very clean and comfortable staff friendlly and helpful very accommodating.

This was by far the worst place I have ever stayed. It is old and run down and I was very disappointed with the whole experience.

I have stayed in Hostels in 3rd world countries better than this hotel. Bathroom sink leaked onto feet when running, shower curtain literally had something growing on it, comforters still had food stains from previous guests and customer service was rude, uncompromising and flat out mean, furthermore, one employee likes to tell customers that there is ghosts in the hotel and in your rooms? I am so easy-going & for me to even write a review takes effort that I normally don't care that much about but this was one of the worst experiences I have every had in an overnight stay and I have had plenty. DO NOT STAY HERE; Pay the additional cost to stay somewhere sustainable.

The holiday lodge should be demolished. It is terrible. We booked for 2 nights and paid but did not stay the 2nd night because of the horrible conditions there. We will never book another Hotel room through Hotels.com

We were stuck staying here ,due to hurricane Matthew, there were no hotels rooms anywhere.. Unprofessional owners in their dress and demeanor. The lobby is so outdated and filled with religious items. Tv remotes were handed with the room key.tv had to be turned on and off manually.. Place was old, tired, and dirty. The workers were nice enough. Keep driving.
