Amrâth Hotel Eindhoven

Housekeepers made a lot noise in the morning during my stay, that bothered me a lot. They just putted towels in a bag, hanged on my door, because of my late woke up.

A two day buisness stay working in Eindhoven. Hotel was just outside easy to find ample parking close to surronding town and shops. Hotel staff were very helpful and kind and always willing to help. Resteraunt food wand staff were excellant.

We were staying to break the journey from North Germany to home. The hotel is in a very quiet part of the town, with its own private parking. It is very clean and tidy. the room was a good size and well eqipped; however, it only had 1 power point for all our phones, laptops etc and the kettle. The room had an air conditioner over the door, but the fan was not powerful enough to blow the cold air throughout the room, so parts were still very warm and parts cold. We didn't use the restaurant for dinner or breakfast. Overall we are very happy with this hotel and visit it every year.

The Hotel was clean, comfortable & very friendly but the Restaurant closed at 9pm & not open at all on Sunday & it was full up. Why oh Why would a restaurant close at 9pm on a Saturday night. Breakfast started at 7am & as we needed an early start we went for our Breakfast at 7am but yet again the Hot food was COLD!!

Stayed at the hotel for two nights on a business trip after a one night stay at the Hotel Mercure in Nijmegen not too far away. Must say the Nijmegen venue was in significantly better condition, the Eindhoven hotel room just felt more worn. Apart from an obnoxious deodorizer smell the room was good. Solid accommodation and reasonably priced, but nothing remarkable.

Our stay was very pleasant, the staff were helpful and polite when we needed any assistance. I struggled to find the car park, which appeared to be the wrong side of a "No Entry" sign, once found it was perfectly adequate and proved secure and convenient. The room was clean,comfortable and quiet, if a little on the warm side. We enjoyed our stay.

although the Mercure website states they have smoking rooms, they do not. A sign in my (very tiny) bathroom said that I had to close the door during and after showering so the smoke detector wouldn't alarm. I also had very little hot water pressure to be sure I wouldn't steam the bathroom too much. Shower was dirty when I arrived. I cleaned it instead of asking the front desk. Walls are paper thin and I could hear my next door neighbor showering and on the phone. The hotel restaurant was closed the 2 days I was there but you could order coffee or a beverage from the bar if you asked the front desk person. Staff was very friendly. I didn't voice my grievances with the hotel but I'm sure staff would have moved me had I asked. At best, this is a 3 star hotel.
