Most of people speak French and found it difficult to order food. Didn’t have much food choice in Hotel. No vegetarian options available in hotel. Also no variety in breakfast. Staff was very helpful and really appreciate their support and help.
I needed to cancel my reservation and did so 2 days before the deadline to cancel, and yet I was charged a $361 cancellation fee that was not part of the terms. That was only for cancelling after the deadline. Hotels.com made the cancellation. I have a cancellation number and Hotels.com called the hotel directly to dispute the charges and they refused to remove them.They are thieves and I have my bank's fraud department investigating.
Good price reasonable rooms easy accessible 5 minutes from the castle by car
Reception gave our room key to another guest who walked into our room, cutlery was dirty at breakfast time, there were 3 of us in the room but consistently had to ask for a third towel, one lift kept breaking down, service at the bar was noon existent. We waited 30 minutes then went to the bar across the road. Stayed in Novotels around the world, never one this bad.
