Such a lovely hotel, not too big. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Very nice décor. Great kiddies corner near reception. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Nice restaurant just across the road too.
Great hotel, 10 minute walk to lovely square with restaurants and cafes and to the palace. Clean rooms, good breakfast and helpful, friendly staff.
We very much enjoyed our stay at the Novotel in Versailles. The front desk staff were extremely helpful, prepared with maps, speaking multiple languages, they were great. The room was just enough for our family of four, a little bit of a tight squeeze, but we were hardly there, except to sleep. Many shops, restaurants, and modes of transportation available to get to the Paris area, while also exposing you to the quaint beauty that is Versailles. Highly recommend.
Property was well maintained and convenient to local tourist attractions. I appreciated the walk in shower. Breakfast was also good. The only issue was the parking is very tight but not unusual for a European hotel.
This Novotel is in a good location for the Palace, approximately 20-25 mins walk along quite a pleasant boulevard and a similar distance to a good selection of restaurants. The hotel itself is clean and has all the facilities you'd want at this level. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was a nice selection in a buffet (cooked eggs, bacon, cheeses, cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit, pastries), but we never ate there for lunch and dinner. The only point I'd raise is the underground car park isn't the biggest and parking can be tight.
Great location & all the comforts you could need for a city stay:
Clean hotel. Comfortable bed. 20 minutes walk to Versailles Palace which is very busy currently and best left to visit at end of the day. Bar relaxed and food fine. Only problem encountered was we arrived Friday and receptionist said breakfast was to 11am but that is not correct on a Monday. So we missed this but hotel promptly sorted a refund which was helpful.
