Novotel York Centre

The hotel exceeded expectations. Great location for walking into town. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would definitely come again.

No control over the air conditioning. Room was far too warm during the heatwave. An additional fan would have been useful.

Breakfast was great, all fresh and cook nicley. Walking distance to town centere.

The AC was the biggest attraction during a heatwave with 30deg outside. But also the reception staff were lovely even though rushed with a queue in front of them. It’s a great riverside location with a short walk to the city centre. Also a swimming pool and sauna with bootable slots so it’s not too busy.

It was in a good location - a 5/10 minute stroll along the river to the town centre. The reception/ bar and dining area was modern and comfortable. The room was clean and comfortable.

Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived although we had checked in on line prior to arrival . We were told that booking via 3rd party and not direct with the hotel meant our check in time was 4.30 .

Staff friendly, great location with parking

Dirty room, uncomfortable bed, broken couch held together with cable ties. Fridge light kept flickering throughout the night. Will not be back!
