"York stay"

- Great central location - pool - on site parking

1) We had a family room. It was made up for 4 which was perfect, but only 2 towels available? You would expect they would leave extra. We called for more - they didn't arrive. As we were going out housekeeping were outside. We managed to get some from them & left them in the room. When we came back the room had been tidied and the towels had gone?! Presumably by the same person that gave us them?!? Sometimes you have to wonder!! 2) Not enough staff on checkin desks at busy times. This is a coach friendly hotel. There were 3 during my stay meaning lots of guests!. I waited 15 mins for a simple request to open the pool so I could give my room key to my partner as I was in a hurry to go out. it got very frustrating! 3) Parking is £19 per 24hrs. I get its a city centre location and other parking in the city is similar £'s more but they don't need to charge so much. It was not open to the public just guests.

"Weekend away with family"

The pool area was very clean with lots of fresh clean towels. The booking system was easy to use. Everywhere was clean and had a nice smell. Daughter enjoyed kids area with X Box and Minecraft available to play. Bar was great with selection of cold and hot drinks including milk alternatives. All staff very helpful and friendly. Loved the location with easy short walk into the city

Reported being short of towels with only 3 provided for 4 persons. Extra towels did not arrive. Kids pull out beds are very firm. Bathroom sink taps are very close to basin making it hard to fill the kettle and wash hands.
