Additional fee for dog when we had searched and believed booked to include dog. This is a hidden cost not expected.

The fact that after booking and notifying the accommodation out of courtesy that two small dogs would be accompanying us, an additional £150 was requested. This was then reduced to £75 Decided I didn't want to stay there, full refund authorised by manager. The advert states dogs are welcome. . Small print says Charges may be applicable. I think the advert needs to highlight that Charges and actual amounts ARE applicable

Brekfast great. They had oat and 2 types of soy milk which i really appreciated as a vegan who loves coffee. Plenty of brekfast and food was hot and topped up regularly. Bread was nice quality and lots of fruit available, mushrooms, beans, tomatoes etc. Staff all very friendly and helpful to me and my mum. Rooms really clean. Nice shower. Beds comfy. Stayed in a heatwave and air-conditioning was super. Can't fault it at all. Manager who welcomed us was really warm and accommodating as were the bar staff. Thanks for making it a good stay. The housekeeping Staff were all friendly too and smiled and said hello.

The shower was spacious and very clean. The free wifi was good.

Breakfast food was good, when I got it, but no bread for toast, none or very little bacon, scrambled eggs, sausage, milk and bowls for cereal, no plates, no cutlery, running out of milk in the only coffee macine working, all took a very long time to replace, so breakfast food was only lukewarm when I started to eat. Cups at opposite end to hot water machine, orange juice running out of orange and providing just lightly coloured water. Same member of staff was clearing tables as well as refilling food, and finding a clean table was difficult too. Obviously a busy hotel but more staff should have been on duty. All very disappointing.

The staff were pleasant and very welcoming, they couldn't do enough for us. Food and drinks were reasonable and very enjoyable. The breakfast had loads of choice....fantastic
