Hotel Tesoro Los Cabos

Nice view, great breakfasts, in marina, spatious rooms,

Wifi only after registering, little confusing navigation in the hotel as its quiet large, not all elevators can reach high floors some rooms accessible only via stairs which with heavy luggage full of diving equipment wasnt easy.

The location is great - right on the marina.

It was all very good.

The location is the best part of Tesoro! The staff were friendly and breakfast was amazing! We will definitely stay there again!

The only thing that we didn’t like about the property is that the plumbing is old and doesn’t work well - shower water pressure and toilets. And I suggest that you sleep with a sound machine - you can hear the music from the bars until the early hours of the morning.

Clean. Staff are great. The location is the best. Close to everywhere.

Just the bar/club across the street is very loud until 4am. We couldnt sleep until theyre done. The music is super loud.

The junior suite was great. The living spacee was large, with a sofa, table, mini-fridge, king bed and dresser. Our view, one level above the restaurant overlooked the marina and we enjoyed watching the boat and people traffice. The bathroom had a sink with a enough counter space for my curling iron and tolietries. The shower was large with good pressure. There was a second sink in the dressing area. Very convenient when someone was using the bathroom. The closet was large and had a working safe (the last two placees we stayed had safes that didn't work). The location was perfect. Waling distance to all the restaurants and activities on the marina and in town. No need for a car. With the exception of one manager, the staff was wonderful, helpful and friendly.

The only reason it doesn't get five stars is the wristband key policy. The access to the hotel and room is through a chip on a permanently attached wristband. This is an issue as it is not a good idea to advertise that we're tourists and staying at the resort when we're in town or on excursions. While the person at the registration desk was willing to let us carry the wristband and show it when in the hotel. We had a brief disagreement with a manager who finally said she would give us a "one time exception" but when we came back we would have to wear the wristband. She showed a disregard for our comfort and security. During our stay, we wore the bands on a bracelet and a lanyard while in the hotel, and no one at the hotel had an issue with it.

Tesoro is a great location for walking and activities.

The birds in the light house were screeching. That is not the fault of the property.
