Great stay far from city noises. Romantic setting but restaurant could be improved.

It is very nice hotel in the beautiful serene location. The hotel needs a bit of the upgrading especially bad musty smell and old carpets. The breakfast was delicious. Everything was super fresh and tasty. Great amenities for family with kids.

Overall a great hotel set in a beautiful park. Helpful staff. The swimming pool, sauna, table tennis, pool table and petanque games are 100m away at the Chateau Maffliers. All free. You can also borrow mountain bikes for free. Rooms are quite modern. Just a few points: - we had an executive room for a family of four and felt it was small - the bathroom is far too small and access to it is awkward alongside the bed - There is an odour issue in corridors (specially level 4). It could do with a carpet upgrade... - Breakfast is good but the room is too small to cater the number of guests in this hotel. We felt a little cramped. They should make use of the restaurant in the chateau.

Overall our stay was very good. However, when i asked the receptionist why they had not one english speaking channel eg BBC News on the T.V she shrugged her shoulders and laughed. We had just stayed in Bordeaux and this was not a problem in the hotel there.

We were not told that even if you stayed at the hotel, you had to book a table in the restaurant. when the restaurant was busy, French people were seated first. The food was also very expensive and boil in the bag rubbish. The staff in the restaurant seemed to be constantly under pressure.

This hotel is NOT in Paris. Nor is it 'close' to any form of public transport. It's in the middle of nowhere... Not a single taxi drive knew where it was (and I used several to get home late at night)... Which is a crying shame, as the hotel itself is MARVELLOUS!! The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. The service provided by the staff is exemplary. The breakfast was great, the dinner in the restaurant was even better. Only stay in this hotel if you have a car... And if you don't, rent one, so you can stay here.

This hotel is good and beautifull

Very positive experience of one member of staff, who arranged early morning take away breakfast.

The hotel is ok but from the pictures one expects better than reality. I disliked the huge amount of cheap looking advertisement photos all over the place a lot. Some semi art would have lifted the atmosphere a lot.
